Competitive Homes Gisborne

Currie Construction was founded in 1985 in the East Coast in the remote area of Tairawhiti, Gisborne by Kim and Debbie Currie. Through dedication to professionalism, integrity, customer service, project innovation and a strong network of resources along with a dedicated focus on health and safety compliance, Currie Construction has established itself with an excellent reputation as a quality building and construction partner.

Today the business is still run by Kim and Debbie, along with their sons John and Sam. The office is based in Gisborne and employs over 30 staff, giving them over 140 years of in-house experience and making them the largest Commercial Construction Company in the area.

They have formed relationships with sub-contractors in all areas of construction. Whether it’s a complex factory services build or a specialized retail fit-out, the chances are that we know the people to talk to. All sub-contractors are contracted under a New Zealand Master Builders Sub-contract Agreement. With the help of these strong partnerships we have achieved and maintained the reputation of exceptional project completion and delivery.
As Registered Master Builders they are proud of their record of achievement when it comes to delivering a quality project above target performance levels, specifications, schedules and within budget.

Each of the Project Managers working for Currie Construction manages individual projects from the tendering through to final accounts. The advantage of this is that you have a manager who becomes intimate with the project. Constantly educating and upgrading, they also regularly share experience and offer technical advice and assistance.
